
Representatives of civil society organizations from Ruse and the region took part in an information meeting to present the INSPIRE Fund. The event was held on June 20, 2024, in Ruse and was the sixth and final information meeting in a series of presentations of the fund in six different Bulgarian cities.
During the event, participants learned about the opportunities and requirements for applying to the INSPIRE Fund competition. They received detailed explanations about the application deadline, the application process, the types of projects, the necessary application documents, the duration of the projects, etc. At the end of the meeting, each participant had the opportunity to ask their own questions about the competition procedure.
The INSPIRE Fund will provide €1,620,000 in grant funding for local and national projects by civil society organizations working to reduce violence against children and empower victims of violence.
The INSPIRE Fund is part of the INSPIRE project: Improving national support for the prevention, intervention, and response to violence against children and the empowerment of victims. The project also includes a training program to increase the capacity of the supported organizations. The project is implemented by the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) and the National Network for Children (NNC) and is co-funded by the European Union.
The information meetings were held in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, and Ruse. If you were unable to attend the live meetings, you can participate in the online sessions that will be held after the competition is announced in July.
