
On June 19, the fifth consecutive information meeting for the presentation of the INSPIRE Fund was held in Varna.
During the event, civil society organizations from Varna and the region received detailed information and explanations about the competition that will be announced within the framework of the Fund. Participants learned in detail about the deadlines and application procedures. They learned about the types of projects that are eligible and the activities that are acceptable. In addition, they learned about the documents they will need to participate in the competition procedure.
The INSPIRE Fund will provide €1,620,000 in grant funding for local and national projects by civil society organizations working to reduce violence against children and empower victims of violence.
The INSPIRE Fund is part of the INSPIRE project: Improving national support for the prevention, intervention, and response to violence against children and the empowerment of victims. The project also includes a training program to increase the capacity of the supported organizations. The project is implemented by the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) and the National Network for Children (NNC) and is co-financed by the European Union.
The last meeting in the series will take place on June 20 in the city of Ruse. Participation is subject to prior registration.
Following the announcement of the competition, four online training sessions are planned on the application process, including form submission and explanation of the methodology used to develop the form.
