The second information meeting for the INSPIRE fund was held in Plovdiv

The second information meeting to present the opportunities for grant funding under the INSPIRE fund was held on June 16, 2024, in Plovdiv.

The event was part of the Annual Meeting of the National Network for Children, which is a partner in the INSPIRE project. During the meeting, participants received detailed explanations about the competition to be announced within the framework of the fund. They learned about the deadlines and application procedures, the types of projects that will be supported, and the requirements regarding project duration and documentation. At the end of the meeting, everyone had the opportunity to ask their own questions about the competition procedure.

The INSPIRE Fund will provide €1,620,000 in grant funding for local and national projects by civil society organizations working to reduce violence against children and empower victims of violence. The competition will be open in July this year.

The fund is part of the INSPIRE project, which also includes a training program to increase the capacity of the supported organizations. The project is implemented by the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) and the National Network for Children (NNC) and is co-financed by the European Union. The project will run for three years, during which CIF will be solely responsible for providing funding for the projects, while NCC will be responsible for building the capacity of the organizations.

Information meetings are scheduled to take place in Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, and Ruse. The schedule of meetings and a link to register for each of them can be found here.

After the announcement of the competition, four online training sessions will be held on the application process, including form submission and explanation of the methodology used to develop the form.
